Ahead of the delicately poised encounter between CHAN Eagles and their Ghanaian counterpart, CAF has made known the man who will be at the centre of action.

The man from Mali Boubou Traore is the man who will be the final arbiter as the two teams play the second leg of CHAN qualifiers  on 3rd September, 2022 at Moshod Abiola Stadium, Abuja.

" Boubou Traore from Mali will oversee the 2nd leg of the CHAN qualifier between Nigeria and Ghana in Abuja," the statements from CAF read.

He will be assisted by Modibo Samake as assistant one, Nouhouk Bamba as assistant two and Mahamoudou Keita as fourth official.

The 36-year-old is a familiar for Ghana as the centre referee when Ghana played Comoros at the last African Cup of Nations.

He became the talking point of the game after issuing a red card to Ghana captain Andre Ayew.
