After a painful loss in their first game, Bayelsa Queens bounced back  in their second match with a win on Thursday in the CAF Women's Champions League in Morocco, reports

The Nigeria representatives defeated TP Mazembe Ladies of Congo by two goals to nothing in their second group B fixture.

First half goals from Joseph Miracle and Chiyenre Grace gave the Prosperity Girls three points.

Miracle's goal came in the third minute from the penalty spot to give the Nigeria girls the momentum to control the game.

21 minute later, Grace doubled the lead keeping Bayelsa Queens comfortable till the end of the first half.

In the second half, the Nigeria side continued on the ascendency, but wasted chances that would have increased the goal margin of the game.

The tie ended that way with the Nigerian champions securing their first three points of the competition.

The Queens now play Wadi Degla in their last group game for a place in the semi finals of the competition.
