CAFCC: Acquah's goal aid 10-Man Rivers United to victory
Rivers United of Nigeria achieved consecutive victories in the CAF Confederation Cup after beating Motema Pembe of Congo on Sunday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The defending champions of the Nigeria Premier Football League showed character after going a man down, to win by a goal to nil courtesy of a Paul Acquah's goal away from home in Luanda, Angola.
Ebube Duru had fallen on the wrong side of the referee after a foul in the 28th minute earned him a yellow. Things became worse as Duru was given the matching orders 12 minutes after the first yellow card.

Acquah pounced on a goalkeeper’s drop ball after his initial header was saved off a layoff by Ngweni Denis in the 53rd minute.
The Pride of Rivers now have six points in three matches after a loss in their first match and lead the group B log with ASEC Mimosas second with 4 points and Diables Noirs 4 points respectively Motema Pembe have 2 points.
