The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has issued a deadline for member associations, including Nigeria, to submit their list of representatives for the preliminary rounds of the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

CAF had previously announced that the preliminary rounds would commence in August 2024.

According to Micky Jnr, a reputable African football journalist, “ CAF will inform all Member Associations that they have until June 15 to send their representatives for Inter-Club Competitions.”

Nigeria will be represented in the CAF Champions League by the winners and runners-up of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

The third-placed team and the winners of the President Federation Cup will compete in the CAF Confederation Cup.

NPFL action will resume this weekend after a one-month break with Rangers topping the league table.
