CAF confirms Uyo, Abuja Stadia among approved venues for 2025/26 continental fixtures
CAF has released the official list of stadiums cleared to host upcoming fixtures, including the 2025/26 CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup preliminary rounds, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Nigeria has two approved venues: Godswill Akpabio Int'l Stadium-Uyo and Moshood Abiola Stadium-Abuja.
These facilities will be available for both domestic clubs representing Nigeria and any neutral venue requirements for other nations.
Four Nigerian teams will be playing on the continent. Remo Stars, Rivers United, Kwara United, and Abia Warriors.
National Sports Stadium are approved for Category B matches, that is Men’s Under 17, Under 20, Under 23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. The preliminary stages of the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup.
