Super Falcons forward, Rasheedat Ajibade has expressed excitement over her exploits at the weekend for her club, Athletico de Madrid Femenino, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Ajibade was on the score sheet twice as Athletico went on to win by two goals to one in the La Liga F fixture on Saturday.

She is happy for the goal and the win stating that the win is a good sign for the next game.

She said, "It was a good game, the most important thing was to win.

"It's great to get this run of three wins, but we have to aim for more. There are good feelings for the next game, but we have to keep focused, working hard on aspects that need to be improved.

The former Robo Queens player amidst being thankful for scoring didn't fail to thank her teammates who it possible.

"Thank God. I am very happy to be able to help the team, but I must say that without the help of my teammates, I could not have made it; it's been a collective effort. Thank you, girls, for helping each other bring out the best in each other."

The win keeps Ajibade's Athletico 4th on the league log with 39 points after 20 games.

They play Granada in the Copa de la Reina on March 8 before a league clash with city rivals Real Madrid on March 12.
