Ajax's forward, Chuba Akpom, faces uncertainty regarding his footballing future as he remains unsure about where he will be playing next season. Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The 28-year-old, who joined the Eredivisie giants from Middlesbrough last summer, has struggled to secure regular playing time at the club.

Akpom, born in Nigeria, has been linked with a return to England, with Nottingham Forest and Fulham reportedly interested in securing his services.

Speaking to ESPN via Voetbal International, Akpom stated, "I don't know yet what the club wants. I just want to have fun and play football, it doesn't matter where."

With two games left in the season, Akpom remains focused on enjoying the game regardless of his role on the pitch.

Despite his limited playing time, Akpom has managed to tally 15 goals and two assists in 34 appearances across all competitions for Ajax.
