Nigeria's Falconets have reached the final of the women's football event of the African Games after beating Uganda I'm the semi final on Monday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Two late goals from Okah Adaobi and Chiamaka Okwuchukwu saw off the Ugandans at the Cape Coast Stadium.

A tougher encounter this was compared to the two other groups the champions played against Morocco and Senegal as the East Africans held Nigeria goalless in the first half.

Coach Chris Dajuma brought more fresh legs to bring in more momentum up front with the introduction of Chiamaka Okwuchukwu for Motunrayo Ezekiel and Adaobi Okah for Olushola Shobowale on 71 minute.

3 minutes later, Okah broke the deadlock before her fellow substitute, Okwuchukwu doubled the lead on 89  minute.

With the win, they play Ghana who defeated Senegal 3-1 in the second semi final in the final
