Ahead of the all important 2023 CHAN qualifiers, a major change has hit the camp of the home based Super Eagles, Nigeriasoccernet.com gathered.

This is as a result of an injury sustained by Rivers United goalkeeper Victor Sochima who has now been ruled out of the game.

Called in to replace him is Remo Stars goalkeeper, Kayode Bankole.

The young goaltender was one of the outstanding goalkeepers of the season as he played an active role in the 'Sky Blue Boys' securing a ticket for the CAF Confederation Cup.

The first leg against Ghana will take on the 28th of August while the second leg is slated for the MKO Stadium in Abuja a week later.
