Premier League club IfeanyiUbah are reportedly in the market for a new coach after Japanese Kenichi Yatsuhashi quit the job after only a month in charge.

Former Warri Wolves’  Dutch coach, Ard Sluis, and former Enyimba coach, Paul Aigbogun, are said to be highly interested in the job.

Yatsuhashi’s absence became noticeable on the last day of the Super Four  in Enugu on Sunday. His Ghanaian assistant, Yaw Preko, was seen on the touchline barking orders to the players as the Nnewi side came from a goal down to rescue a point from league champions, Enugu Rangers.

Yatsuhashi lost his first two matches in charge of the team during the Super Four, prompting reports of his sacking by the club, who questioned his physical style of football.

Sluis was in the stands in Enugu on Sunday to watch the Anambra Warriors. The Dutch quit Wolves in the middle of last season, when the club began battling relegation.

Aigbogun led Enyimba to an eighth-place finish in the Premier League last season and has since been replaced by former Shooting Stars coach, Gbenga Ogunbote.

In the two years of IfeanyiUbah in the top flight, the club have hired and fired former internationals, John Obuh and Daniel Amokachi, as well as the Bulgarian Mitko Dobrev, who is currently their technical director, as well as the young Brazilian Rafael Everton, who led them to their first major trophy, the Federation Cup.
