Club Brugge manager, Nick Hayen plans to have a calm discussion with Raphael Onyedika following the Nigerian sending-off in Tuesday's 3-1 loss to AC Milan at the San Siro, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Onyedika received a red card for a poor challenge five minutes before halftime, his second in four Champions League appearances.
Hayen emphasized the need for Onyedika to eliminate mistakes from his game.
"We were, of course, surprised that Raphael got red. I think we can talk about bad luck – and unfortunately, the decision fell to our disadvantage," Hayen said.
"We will have a calm talk about it on Wednesday. In that area, we are a warm club that does not let players fall. We will try to find a solution, but this kind of error needs to be worked on at Raphael."
Hayen's approach aims to support Onyedika in addressing his disciplinary issues.
