Olori Babes FC beat Police Machine 2-0 to finish as winner of the promotion playoff of the Nigeria Women’s football league on Friday.

The Warri based team defeated the likes of Moje Queens, Pelican Stars and Police Machine to seal their promotion ticket to the Nigeria Women Football League.

Olori Babes also clinched the tickets without conceding a goal in all the three played at Confluence stadium in Lokoja, Kogi state.

The Coach Abayomi Olorunda ladies needed at least a point against Police Machine, but got all the three points against the Uyo based team to seal automatic promotion to the NWFL and returns professional female football back to Warri.
