Kano Pillars have touched down in Ghana ahead of their CAF Champions League second leg tie against Asante Kotoko on Sunday.

The Nigeria Premier League side arrived in the country on Friday morning for the crucial game over the weekend.

Asante Kotoko will host the Yellow and Green lads at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

The Porcupine Warriors are eyeing a win win over Pillars after suffering a 3-2 defeat in Kano at the Saani Abaacha Sports Stadium in Kano a fortnight ago.

If Kotoko progress from the preliminary stage, they will face the winners of the tie between Hafia of Guinea and Etoile du Sahel of Tunisia in the second round to be played on the weekends of September 13 to 15 and September 27 to September respectively.

Last season, the Reds were Ghana’s sole representatives at the Confederation Cup but missed out on the money zone
