The Rossoneri had their first session of the week yesterday afternoon at Milanello, beginning their preparations for their clash after the international break with Napoli, the game kicking off at 18:00 CET on Saturday 23 November at San Siro.

After a warm-up based around two-touch drills, coach Pioli brought the group together for an internal friendly against the Primavera side made up of three twenty-minute thirds. Technical Area Director Paolo Maldini and Sporting Director Frederic Massara were both present for the game. The First Team, consisting of those not involved with their national sides, won the game 5-0 thanks to a Daniel Maldini hat-trick and goals from Andrea Conti and Giacomo Bonaventura.

The team are set to meet for lunch at 12:30 CET on Tuesday before their next training session at Milanello. Coach Pioli, midfielder Bonaventura and Team Manager Andrea Romeo will all travel to Rome in the morning to take part in an event promoted by the FIGC for referees, coaches and captains in Serie A TIM, with CAN A representative Stefano Rizzoli set to speak on the topic of VAR.
