Zambia forward Rachael Kundananji believes Saturday's crucial Women's Africa Cup of Nations Group C encounter against Nigeria's Super Falcons will be decisive for both teams' hopes of progressing in the tournament, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The defending champions suffered a surprise 3-2 defeat to tournament debutants Malawi in their opening match, while Zambia announced themselves as title contenders with a commanding 6-0 victory over Egypt.

With qualification to the knockout stage hanging in the balance, Kundananji acknowledged the significance of the fixture and expressed confidence in her team's readiness.

"The morale is high, the team is ready," she said during Friday's pre-match press conference.
