Good news from Aba: Enyimba to have Obioma available for Super Six
Nigeria Professional Football League side, Enyimba have available Chukwuemeka Obioma for the Super Six mudial, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
There’ve been fears concerning the availability league top scorer due to suspected knee injury.
The concerns looked affirmed after Obioma missed the last game of the regular season, a crucial tie away to Shooting Stars.
After the game however, Enyimba coach, Finidi George confirmed the availability of the striker for the Super Six playoff.
“Hopefully Obioma will be available for selection when the Nigeria Premeir Football league Super Six playoff begins in June,” Finidi told Daily Post in Ibadan.
“He a is strong lad and one of our important players too. We will need everybody ready for these crucial stage of the competition,” he added.
The NPFL April Player of the Month has netted 13 times this season.
