Former Tottenham Hotspur winger Nathan Oduwa is undergoing trials at Slovak Super Lig AS Trencin with a view to a transfer in the January transfer window.

AS Trencin manager Norbert Hrncar observed the ex-Nigeria U23 international at close quarters during Wednesday's friendly game against MFK Frýdek-Místekin which he was named in the starting line-up.

Oduwa is searching for a new club following his departure from Hapoeli Hadera, Israel at the end of last season.

The 23-year-old spent the first half of the 2018-2019 campaign at Danish side Vejle Boldklub, playing just four games before parting company with the club.

Luton Town, Rangers, Colchester United and Peterborough United are the clubs he was loaned out during his time with Tottenham Hotspur and he has also worn the jersey of Olimpija Ljubljana in Slovenia.

Nigeria international wingers Samuel Kalu and Moses Simon started their professional careers at AS Trencin.
