The reported fall out between former Super Falcons captain Desire Oparanozie and interim Head Coach, Christopher Danjuma is a contorted fallacy, the latter has told www.brila.net.

Danjuma replaced former Head Coach Thomas Dennerby following the Swede’s resignation, but his decision to reissue the team’s captaincy and further drop Oparanozie for the Olympic Qualifying Tournament against Ivory Coast has raised concerns.

Among other things reports have suggested the Coach, acting on behalf of higher powers within the NFF, blacklisted the France-based player.

But the Coach has denied he’s serving any puppet master or the existence of any rift with the 25 year-old.

“I never had issues with Oparanozie as many people had highlighted,” Danjuma told said.

“Ironically, in 2015 Oparanozie bought a flight ticket with her money from France to come meet with us in Congo for the qualifiers (Olympic).

“That’s the greatest sacrifice a player would do for her coach; using her own money to purchase ticket, and of course I refunded her. So to say I have issues with her does not arise,” the Coach concluded.
