Former Ghana international, Yaw Preko will act as acting head coach of FC IfeanyiUbah pending the appointment of a new gaffer, an official of the club has disclosed.

The Anambra Warriors are looking for a new head coach after Kenichi Yatsuhashi walked away from the side following their poor showing at the just concluded NPFL Super-Four Tournament in Enugu.

Former Enyimba coach,  Paul Aigbogun and Dutch trainer, Ard Sluis who was in charge of Warri Wolves last season are said to be among the front runners for the position.

"Mr Preko will be in charge of our team for now until when we decide to bring in a new head coach," media officer of the club, Paul Ezeka informed nigeriasoccernet today.

"We have read several reports on the coaches that we will like to bring in, but nothing is certain for now."

Preko was in charge of the Nnewi-based side during their last game of the Super-Four against Enugu Rangers on Sunday.
