Maja joined the Baggies from French club Girondis Bordeaux in 2023 and quickly established himself as a key player, scoring 12 times in 26 appearances last season.

Despite suffering an injury that sidelined him for most of the campaign, Maja has made three appearances for West Brom this season.

The club is keen to extend his stay, but talks are ongoing to determine the length and terms of the new contract.

Maja's representatives are reportedly seeking a substantial fee, around €18 million (£15 million), while West Brom is looking to balance their promotion ambitions with financial realities.

Potential contract terms may include increased wages, performance incentives, and a release clause for a Premier League move.
