Super Falcons head coach, Justine Madugu has expressed confidence in his team's readiness to face Tunisia in their opening fixture at the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The nine-time champions will take on the Tunisians in Casablanca on Sunday, with the match set to kick off at 5:00 pm Nigeria time.

Madugu's team is in high spirits ahead of the tournament, having secured a 3-1 victory over arch-rivals Black Queens of Ghana in a friendly match on Sunday.

The Super Falcons have enjoyed a strong run of form, tasting defeat only once in their last five outings.

Madugu on Nff.com (the official website of the federation) emphasized that his team is focused on the task ahead, determined to claim a 10th title.

In Group B, Algeria will face Botswana in the other match on the same day.

The West Africans in the final preparatory match defeated arch-rivals, Ghana 3-1 on Sunday.
