WAFA goalkeeper Felix Annan says his performance against his former club Kotoko was nothing extraordinary
WAFA goalkeeper Felix Annan insists he didn't particularly set out himself to impress against his former club Asante Kotoko.
The 21-year-old emerged one of the star performers as the youthful side inflicted more misery on the champions with a 1-0 win on Wednesday.
Annan is always regarded not to have been given enough opportunities during his time with Kotoko despite making some impressive cameo appearances.
Many believe his excellent performance in keeping a clean sheet against Kotoko on Wednesday was to show his former club what they are missing.
But the youngster insists he only did his job with no regard to the opposing team.
"For me it is not about playing against Kotoko or any team," he said.
"I now play for WAFA so I always aim to give off my best regardless of the team I play against."
