Chairman of the MTN FA cup J Y Appiah says the venue for this year’s MTN FA cup would be decided on Friday the 17th of July.

Holders Kumasi Asante Kotoko saw off the challenge of Aduana Stars to reach their fourth FA cup final in five seasons.

Kotoko’s win pilled pressure on rivals Hearts of Oak who buckled to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Medeama.

The Yellow and Mauves victory meant this year’s final will be a repeat of the 2012/2013 season where Medeama won by a solitary goal.

J.Y Appiah who is chairman of the competition says they will hold a meeting on Friday to decide the venue for the game.

“We held a meeting on Tuesday to decide the venue of the game but we did not conclude on it,” J.Y Appiah told Accra based Citi FM

“We will meet again on Friday to  conclude and decide the venue and by then we would be in a position to put out the name of the venue.”

This year’s FA cup is scheduled for the 30th of August 2015.
