TP Mazembe owner Moise Katumbi is refusing to release Ghana winger Solomon Asante with the latest being rejecting a US$ 2 million from Esperance.

Asante has been with the Ravens since 2013 when he signed from Berekum Chelsea and had a successful spell so far.

The diminutive winger has since been on the wish list on clubs on the continent and in Europe.

According to the reports in local radio stations, Esperance had their bid of US$ 2 million turned down.

Katumbi is said to be stumbling block as he has on several occasions failed to give the green flag for his exit despite being sought after.
