Ghana midfielder Afriyie Acquah has been named the best Ghanaian player in the Italian Serie A for the 2014/2015 season.

The new Torino signing was in contention with Richmond Boakye-Yiadom (Atalanta), Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu (Udinese) and Alfred Duncan.

Acquah had loan successful loan spells at Parma and Sampdoria where he made ten appearances and scored one goal.
