Super Eagles boost as Zaidu Sanusi and Akor Adams join camp
The Super Eagles' camp in Polokwane has received a boost with the arrival of defender Zaidu Sanusi and forward Akor Adams, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The duo joined the team on Wednesday night and took part in the training session, ahead of the crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Lesotho.
The Super Eagles now have 20 players in camp, with United States-based midfielder Alhassan Yusuf expected to join the team on Thursday.
The team will hold their final training session on Thursday, ahead of the match against Lesotho at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Friday.
The match is a crucial one for Nigeria's World Cup qualification hopes, with the team currently sitting third in Group C.
A win against Lesotho would see them close the gap on leaders Benin Republic and South Africa, who were both dealt a blow recently.
