Super Eagles B put to the sword by Sudan
Super Eagles B have recorded their second defeat at the ongoing African Nations Championship after a big defeat against Sudan on Tuesday, NigeriaSoccernet.com reports.
The CHAN Eagles, as they are also called, lost 4-0 to Sudan at the Amaan Stadium in Zanzibar in their second group game as they near an exit from the competition.
After a few minutes of dominating play, Anthony Ijoma's goal for Nigeria was ruled out for offside after 22 minutes.
Three minutes later, Sudan scored through Leonard Ngenge's own-goal before Khdir Safour doubled the lead for the Falcons of Jediane on 44 minutes to give Sudan a comfortable 2-0 lead at the end of the first half.
Eric Chelle brought Vincent Temitope, Jabbar Malik, and Stephen Manyo for Leonard Ngenge, Haruna Hadi, and Taofeeq Otaniyi to salvage the situation.

However, Sudan made it three through Taha Yagoub as the game continued to move beyond the Nigerian team after 55 minutes.
Taha Yagoub scored his brace seven minutes later to put the icing on the cake and give the Sudanese team an emphatic win and send the Eagles packing from the tournament.
Nigeria faces Congo in their final group game next Tuesday at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam. At the same time, Sudan and Senegal will trade tackles at the Amaan Stadium in Zanzibar.
