Super agent Oliver Arthur loses dad

Prominent Ghanaian FIFA intermediary (agent) Oliver Arthur is mourning the death of his father Joseph Arthur.

Mr. Arthur died on Saturday morning at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra following a short illness at age 83.

He was Director of Akyempim Automobile and a former Engineer at Ghana Oil Company (GOIL).

Oliver etched his name in Ghana’s football folklore after transfer over a score of footballers to Italy include Black Stars duo Richmond Boakye-Yiadom (Atalanta) and Afriyie Acquah (Torino).

Other players in his books are Godfred Donsah (Cagliari), Evans Osei (Torino), Bright Addae (Ascoli) and Alimeyaw Salifu (Latina) just to mention a few.

He recently relocated to Italy with his family to achieve his dream of becoming a global football agent.

Oliver’s younger brother Roy recently parted ways with Ghana Premier League side BA United as Chief Executive.
