Head Coach José Santos Peseiro has invited team captain Ahmed Musa, in-form forwards Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman as well as 20 other players to the Super Eagles’ camp, ahead of this month’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture against the Djurtus of Guinea Bissau, Nigeriasoccernet.com  reports.

The super Eagles of Nigeria will host Guinea Bissau at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on Friday, 24th March, and then make travel to Bissau for the return three days later at the Estadio 24 de Setembro.

The Portuguese tactician extends his invitation to Nigeria U-20 captain  Daniel Bameyi is called alongside team goalkeeper Chijioke Aniagboso.

At then end three goalkeepers, eight defenders, four midfielders and eight forwards are expected to start arriving at the team camp in Abuja on Sunday, 19th March.

Victory for the Super Eagles will secure Nigeria’s ticket for the AFCON come next year.

Nigeria is on maximum six points from their defeats of Sierra Leone and Sao Tome and Principe, with the Djurtus in second place on four points from their defeat of Sao Tome and Principe and draw with the Leone Stars.
