Watford midfielder Tom Dele-Bashiru has completed a season-long loan move to Turkish Süper Lig side Gençlerbirli?i SK, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The 25-year-old Nigerian player has struggled for regular football at Watford, making only two appearances this season.
Dele-Bashiru joined Watford in 2019 from Manchester City and has made 81 appearances for the club, scoring eight goals.
His breakthrough season came in 2023/24, when he featured in 38 matches under Tom Cleverley.
At Gençlerbirli?i, Dele-Bashiru will link up with fellow Nigerians Henry Onyekuru and Peter Etebo.
The loan move could prove decisive for his long-term future, with his Watford contract expiring in 2026.
Dele-Bashiru's move mirrors the path of his younger brother, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, who joined Lazio from Hatayspor earlier this year.
