Rivers Angels secured a second win in the ongoing Nigeria Women Football League Super Six tournament in Bayelsa after beating Confluence Queens on Friday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Jewel of Rivers handed a second consecutive defeated to Lokoja based outfit by winning 2-0 in the matchday 4 encounter at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa.

After a cagey affair which saw an almost evenly contest, Chiamaka Okwuchukwu became the heroine, scoring two goals in the remaining 20 minutes of the game.

She broke the deadlock off a rebounce as she put the ball past keeper Sylvia Echefu on 70 minute before doubling the lead on 89 minute.

The win adds to the already garnered 5 points to make it 7 points after 4 matches while Confluence Queens have 3 points.
