Rivers Angels returned to winning ways with an emphatic win over Delta Queens, while Benue Queens secured their first win of the season in the Nigeria Women Football League, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Jewels of Rivers bounced back from a disappointing loss to Robo Queens last week to beat former champions, Delta Queens, 3-0 at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium.

The win was inspired by goal poacher, Mary Moses, who scored a hat-trick in the 16th, 70th, and 73rd minutes of the encounter to close the gap on group leaders, Bayelsa Queens.

Adamawa Queens held group B leaders, Bayelsa Queens to a 1-1 draw in Numan.

Delight Isaac's goal in the 8 minutes was cancelled by Katon Waken on 48 minutes to end the tie in a stalemate.

Joy Ikyagh's 57th-minute goal gave newcomers, Benue Queens, their first win in the league against Ibom Angels in Lafia.

Naija Ratels took a huge step towards their Super Six qualification with a 1-0 win over Robo Queens courtesy of  Sofiat Bankole's goal in the 10th minute.

The win moves the Abuja side on the same points as Robo Queens in 3rd and 4th position.
