Optimistic of winning the league title this season, Lobi Stars of Makurdi midfielder, Christian Madu believes his side will give their all in the remain games for the season starting with Tuesday's visit to Ibadan where they'll face continental ticket hopeful, Shooting Stars Nigeriasoccernet.com can report.

The 30-year-old attacking midfielder  who believes his team parades one of the best players in the league stated that they can't afford to disappoint the fans of the club who have been craving for a moment of glory.

"I am confident that we will win the NPFL title. You can see that we have very good players and a good gaffer. We understand each other and played as a team. We are getting the continental ticket and will get the job done.

"And to our fans, we appreciate your support of us through thick or thin. We promise to never let you guys down."

Currently second on the log with 51 points, same as leaders Enugu Rangers, Lobi Stars will have their hands full on Tuesday evening at the Lekan Salami Stadium Adamasingba against a high-flying Shooting Stars but a point or more from the game will boost their confidence as the fight for who will dethrone Enyimba continues.
