Following the hard fought win of Enyimba against Bendel Insurance on Wednesday, Coach George Finidi has asked his side to continue the winning mentality, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The reigning champions had to sweat it out to edge fierce rivals, Bendel Insurance 2-1 in their Nigeria Premier Football League reschedule match at the Enyimba International Stadium.
The Coach of the Aba giants stated while speaking with the press after the match expressed delight over the win, emphasising that the boys needed to continue the mentality.
"It's a game were we dominated, created chances. First half we couldn't score, but I think the score half we had clear cut chances to have scored even before the goals started coming.
So, it was a good display from the players and we are all happy. I think we have to continue like, they just have to keep believing in themselves and hopefully we get the job done."
Enyimba have now recorded their first back to back win this season and will seek to continue the run against Heartland International FC at the Dan Anyiam Stadium on Saturday.
