NPFL: Lobi Stars get money boost ahead of Shooting Stars' clash

The Chairman of Lobi Stars Football Club of Makurdi, who doubles as the Deputy Governor of Benue State, Barr. Sam Ode, Mni, has boosted the morale of the players ahead of NPFL Match Day 30 clash against Shooting Stars Sporting Club of Ibadan.

The Benue Deputy Governor assured the Yes Father boys of total government support ahead of the remaining matches and donated half a million to the team.

Reacting, the Captain of the Team, Daniel Atsaka, thanked the the Deputy Governor and members of his entourage for the visit.

"We really and truly appreciate your support, financially, morally and otherwise. We have vowed once again to do our best to make the entire State proud. May God crown all our ernest effort with huge success" said captain Atsaka.

The Club Chairman was accompanied to the Lekan Salami Stadium by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Rt. Hon. Paul Biam, Chief of Staff to the Deputy Governor, Barr. Musa Ejoh, Commissioner for ICT amd Digital Economy, Mr. Amande Kwaghgba, Commissioner for Information and Culture, Hon. Matthew Aboh, the Liaison Officer in charge of South West, Mr .Onuh and Hon. Baba Acka.
