Abdu Maikaba, Coach of Enugu Rangers has been given a 2-match ultimatum by the Enugu State Government to turn things around at the club or face sack.

According to report reaching Nigeriasoccernet.com, the ultimatum is not unconnected to the poor performance of the 7-time champions of the league in their first two matches of the new season.

The Flying Antelopes have been unable to score or secure a win in their first two matches leaving them bottom of group A of the NPFL standings.

A 2-0 loss against Abia Warriors at their adopted home in Awka and a 1-0 loss to Lobi Stars some days have put the Enugu based team in a precarious situation.

The Coach and his crew now two matches to redeem the fortunes of the club or get axed.

A home match against Sunshine Stars of Akure and a travel to Kaduna to play Niger Tornadoes in their match week 4 encounter.
