Nigerian goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie has been shortlisted for the PFA Women's Super League Fans' Player of the Month award for September, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Nnadozie has had an impressive start to the season with Brighton & Hove Albion Ladies, making five league appearances and keeping two clean sheets.

Her performances have helped Brighton secure seven points from their opening five league games.

The 24-year-old goalkeeper's nomination is a testament to her exceptional skills, which have drawn comparisons to some of the best goalkeepers in the world.

Nnadozie has been making waves in the WSL, and her commanding debut against Aston Villa earned her the Player of the Match award.

Nnadozie is up against Aggie Beever-Jones (Chelsea), Melvine Malard (Manchester United), Alessia Russo (Arsenal), Bunny Shaw (Manchester City), and Cathinka Tandberg (Tottenham Hotspur) for the award. Fans can vote for their preferred player via the official WSL platform.

Nnadozie's nomination marks another milestone in her illustrious career, following her historic nomination for the Women's Yashin Trophy at the Ballon d'Or and her Best Goalkeeper award at the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations.
