Stormers Sport Club has progressed to the Nigeria National League following their triumph in the Ibadan centre of the Nationwide League One promotional playoff, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Abeokuta side finished top of the group with two wins and a loss, ending with 6 points in 3 matches at the Adamasigba Stadium.

The Stormers started with a 1-0 loss against Joy Cometh FC before turning the corner in the subsequent matches.

A comeback win against FC Ebedei (2-1) and another 2-1 win over Real Sapphire FC were enough to emerge as the group winners ahead of Joy Cometh FC, which finished with 5 points.

Real Sapphire FC  came third with 4 points, while FC Ebedei ended the campaign with a point.
