Ikorodu City Football Academy kicked started their maiden Nationwide League One campaign with an emphatic win over Dannaz FC in Lagos on Thursday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The young Oga Boys came from a goal down to thrash Dannaz FC 1-4 at the Legacy Pitch Stadium after braces from Samuel Ezekiel and Okeh Emmanuel.

Matthew Akinde pounded on Ikorodu City FA's defensive error to bundle the ball across the goalline to give Dannaz the lead after 4 minutes of play.

Samuel Ezekiel rebounded home from close range to restore parity for Ikorodu City FA two minutes later, before his second goal on 22 minutes gave Ikorodu the lead as the players headed to the dressing room.

The game's complexion became Ikorodu City's for the taking after Okeh Emmanuel's glancing header doubled Ikorodu City FA's lead on 66 minutes.

Emmanuel wrapped up the score with his second of the day on the stroke of 90 minutes to seal a comfortable win for the newcomers.
