Great Olympics coach Yaw Acheampong admits his players get depressed at times over the club’s positioning on the Premier League table.

The Wonder club are making steady progress in their fight against demotion this season with a 4-2 win over Berekum Chelsea on Wednesday.

Olympics however remain deeply involved in the relegation dog fight as they are still 14th on the league log.

And coach Yaw Acheampong says this situation keeps having a spooking effect on his players.

“The players sometimes get depressed by the positioning of the club on the table,” he said.

“It is proving to be a psychological challenge but we keep working on them to make them know they are better than that.

“The boys can play very well and we have to keep on motivating them to give out their best.”
