Super Eagles Manager, Jose Peseiro has expressed satisfaction with the standard of facilities at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin after his visit, Nigeriasoccernet.com gathered.

According to the Edo State Sport Commission Twitter Page, the Portuguese tactician spoke after inspection of the facility on Sunday afternoon in Benin, noting that the facility is world-class and that the maintenance is superb.

The Super Eagles manager who was at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in the company of some NFF officials including the Federation's Technical Director Austin Eguavoen watched Insurance versus Gombe Utd NPFL Week 6 match in Benin on Saturday and visited the Stadium again the next day to inspect the the the the facility.

He commended the Edo state government and the Sports Commission team over the standard of infrastructure and maintenance culture already in place.

He said that it is one thing to put massive infrastructure in place, maintenance is another very important thing.

According to the Football tactician, he was in Benin to watch the NPFL week six game involving Insurance and Gombe to see some of the players' performance.

He promised to visit again to still see players in action to give some Local League players callup opportunities to the national teams.
