Turkish Super Lig: Onuachu crowned Player of the Month
Nigerian striker, Paul Onuachu, has been named the Turkish Super Lig Player of the Month for October, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Onuachu's impressive form for Trabzonspor earned him the award, with two goals and one assist in three league appearances during the month.
Trabzonspor remained unbeaten in October, with two wins and one draw, and Onuachu's performances were a key factor in their success.
The Super Eagles striker beat off competition from eight other top players, including Rafa Silva, Andre Onana, and Milan Skriniar, to claim the award.
The winner was decided by fan votes, and Onuachu's impressive form this season has seen him win the Goal of the Month award twice already.
With seven goals and one assist in 11 league appearances, Onuachu has been a standout performer for Trabzonspor, also known as the Black Sea Storm.
