The 28-year-old, who can play as a striker or winger, has been linked with several clubs since leaving the Premier League outfit.
According to Spanish media outlet Fichajes, Valencia are keen on Dennis as they look to bolster their attack ahead of the January transfer window.
With no transfer fee involved, the forward becomes an attractive option for Los Che.

Dennis's versatility and experience make him a suitable fit for Valencia's squad. His chances at Forest were limited, making just five league appearances this season.
