Matchday Seven of the 2025/2026 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership delivered goals, drama and crucial results across the centres, with Rivers Angels recording the biggest win of the round and Bayelsa Queens claiming an emphatic away victory as the title race gathered momentum, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

In Lagos, Dannaz Ladies secured a hard-fought 2–1 win over Ahudiyannem Queens. Amarachi Anusillem opened the scoring in the 58th minute before Chizaram Onyenze restored parity for the visitors in the 71st minute. Adewunmi Akintola then sealed the victory with an 87th-minute strike. At the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, Abia Angels edged Delta Queens 1–0 courtesy of a 55th-minute goal from Blessing Okon.

Rivers Angels were in ruthless form in Port Harcourt, cruising to a dominant 5–0 win over Heartland Queens. Ramotalahi Kareem starred with a superb hat-trick, scoring in the 14th, 33rd and 58th minutes, while Abasiofon Uwah added a brace in the 22nd and 38th minutes to complete the rout.

In Ile-Ogbo, Osun Babes and Sunshine Queens played out a goalless draw in a tightly contested encounter. Remo Stars Ladies continued their fine run in Ikenne with a 1–0 victory over FC Robo Queens, as Cynthia Mega struck the decisive goal in the 73rd minute.

At Iyamho, Confluence Queens and Nasarawa Amazons shared the spoils in a 1–1 draw. Seember Emmanuel gave Confluence Queens the lead in the 19th minute before Omotoke Ogunfuwa grabbed a late equaliser for Nasarawa Amazons in the 88th minute.

Bayelsa Queens delivered one of the standout performances of the round with a convincing 4–1 away win over Adamawa Queens in Makwada. Blessing Ilivieda opened the scoring in the 12th minute before Omoh Afensemi briefly equalised in the 20th minute. Janet Akekeromowei restored Bayelsa’s lead in the 36th minute, while Kindness Ifeanyi added two more goals in the 45th and 66th minutes to put the game beyond doubt.

In Benin City, Edo Queens claimed a 2–1 victory over Pacesetter Queens. Saidat Adeniyi struck early in the 7th minute, but Aminat Adebisi equalised in the 51st minute. Doosuur Atume netted the winner seven minutes later.

The final match in Uyo saw Ibom Angels defeat Ekiti Queens 2–1. Happiness Agboye opened the scoring in the 10th minute, while Seun Fakunle equalised for Ekiti Queens in the 30th minute. Wami Georgeline scored the decisive goal in the 80th minute.

With the season gathering pace, Matchday Seven once again highlighted the competitiveness and improving quality of the NWFL Premiership as clubs continue their push for honours and continental qualification.
