Onuachu scores twice as Trabzonspor rally past Konyaspor at Papara Park
Paul Onuachu continued his remarkable scoring form on Sunday, netting a brace to inspire Trabzonspor to a 3–1 comeback win against Tümosan Konyaspor in the Turkish Super Lig, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The visitors took an early lead through Yhoan Andzouana in the 17th minute, but Trabzonspor responded decisively at Papara Park.
Onuachu levelled the score just before halftime in the 43rd minute, before striking seven minutes into the second half again to put his side ahead.
Ernest Muci extended Trabzonspor’s lead in the 56th minute, sealing a dominant turnaround for the home side.
Onuachu’s double takes his tally to 11 goals in 14 matches, sending him to the top of the Super Lig scoring charts as the league’s current leading marksman.
The Nigerian striker’s hot streak continues as he cements his status as the most in-form forward in Turkey.
