AS Roma has officially confirmed the signing of Super Falcons forward Omorinsola Babajide, with the winger penning a deal that will see her remain with the club until June 30, 2027, Nigeriasoccernet.com writes.

Babajide brings valuable international and club experience to the Italian club, having previously featured for English sides Liverpool and Brighton & Hove Albion before making the switch to Spain in 2022.

She first joined Real Betis and later moved to Tenerife for the following season. On the international stage, Babajide represented England at various youth levels between 2015 and 2019, but in 2023, she opted to represent the Nigerian senior national team, marking a new chapter in her career.

Currently on national team duty, making her continental debut with the Super Falcons at the ongoing WAFCON, she will be hoping to help her side achieve their 10th championship ambition.
