NPFL clears Adewale Adeyinka of allegations, lift ban
The Nigeria Premier Football League board has officially cleared Adewale Adeyinka of all allegations, lifting the ban imposed on him earlier, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Adewale was reported to appear before the NPFL Inquest Committee last Thursday at the NPFL Secretariat in Abuja over a betting allegation.
The NPFL Board suspended the Plateau United goalkeeper Adewale Adeyinka’s registration as a player over betting allegations.

Plateau United levelled the allegations against Adeyinka after he refused to sign a contract with a potential club, which included an immediate termination in the case of betting implications.
Adeyinka joined the Jos-based side in the 2024/25 season on a two-year contract from Kwara United.
With this development, Adeyinka is now free to pursue new opportunities and register with any club of his choice.
Reports emerge this month of a move for the goalkeeper to Shooting Stars Sports Club.
