Hull City seek to delay Semi Ajayi's release for AFCON 2025

Hull City is in talks with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to delay Semi Ajayi's release for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

All invitees are expected to join the Super Eagles in Egypt on December 11. This is the day after Hull City's clash with Wrexham.

Ajayi has been a key player for Hull City, scoring his maiden goal in the 2-1 win at Stoke City and earning Man of the Match honors.

The Tigers want to keep Ajayi until December 14, allowing him to play in the match against Wrexham.
