Celtic News: Iheanacho returns to action, joins squad for Feyenoord Clash
Celtic striker, Kelechi Iheanacho, has joined his teammates on a UEFA Europa League trip to face Feyenoord on Thursday, marking his return to action after a hamstring injury, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The 29-year-old Nigerian international has been out of action since sustaining the injury against Sturm Graz last month, missing Celtic's last six games across all competitions.
Iheanacho trained with the Celtic squad on Wednesday, his first session since the injury, and is set to make his first appearance under interim head coach Martin O'Neill.
The versatile striker joined Celtic on a free transfer in late September and has impressed with three goals in eight appearances for the Scottish Premiership champions.
Iheanacho's return is a boost to the Scottish giant ahead of their European fixture tonight.
