BetPawa has signed a ?494M partnership deal with the Nigeria National League (NNL) — and setting a new record for Nigerian football partnerships, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The deal brings in the Locker Room Bonus — a first-of-its-kind system where winning players get ?56,000 instantly in their mobile wallets after every match. Plus, the NNL gets ?400,000 per weekend match — a double win for players and the league.

NFF President Gusau: “This partnership brings huge value. By rewarding players directly, it tackles one of our biggest challenges — the high migration of Nigerian players abroad.”

NNL Chairman George Aluo hailed the deal as a boost for grassroots football, while NSC DG Philip Shaibu said it will “ginger players to give their best.”

BetPawa’s Nii Ashong-Katai said their choice of  NNL to partner with was to aid the development of talents.

“Grassroots and raw talent thrive in the NNL. Supporting this middle ground strengthens the entire Nigerian football pyramid — from grassroots to elite.”

Over #100,000,000 to the NNL to run the league as #81,000,000 for the end of the season award for best teams and best players.
